Holy Crap! I have a blog?

Hey everybody. Been neglecting this lately. Let's see. After Thailand started semester, had a nasty bike crash, schoolin', workin' and many dentist visits. Semester is almost done and had a great thanksgiving. Hope all is well.....oh and on left the cause of the impending downfall of humanity :)

Happy Danksgiving

"Found a good image that was shot YEARS ago of an alien Thanksgiving celebration at Area 54. Nothing out of the ordinary: human sacrifice, nude aliens, giblets, gravy ... business as per usual."

Promo Film For The 1985 Honda VFR750R

"That jewel-like engine was a marvel though; different countries were given different states of tune, but peak power was up to 112 or 118 bhp depending on whom you ask. All RC30s were hand-built in the Honda Racing Corporation facility rather than on the regular production lines, and Honda created a promotional film to showcase its meticulous engineering."

one more quarter

When I was in high school I pumped countless quarters into this machine.  That damn Rudy was always taunting me.  I bumped into a very entertaining article that shed some light on the economics of pinball machines, and the evolution of the devices used to entice you to put one more quarter in.  If you were ever a pinball guy, it'll be worth the click.

What Holden Sees Written On The Wall

"Aside from his Nine Stories, JD Salinger published twenty-two stories in various magazines which remain uncollected. Several attempts have been made to compile these stories together but have met stiff resistance by the author."

try this for an hour, radio nova

I think that many of you spend some time at desks working throughout the day. I on the other hand do not. But I keep this radio station streaming through my browser for much of the day and buy a lot of music through itunes as a result. It is a Paris radio station that has a really great mix of music from new hip hop, soul, reggae and classics galore. They mix music just how i would like to. So I sampled a playlist for you to see and provide you with the link. The text on their website is in French, but I think we are all educated enough to navigate our way through and get stoked.

Love For The Doper

"Hi. My name is Robot, and I am an alcoholic. Fortunately, for me, I’ve been able to stay sober for the past seventeen years, much of that time with the help of a bicycle and the myriad benefits that particular piece of machinery bestows upon its frequent users.

"I bring up my alcoholism to make a point about doping that I think escapes most who would judge a young rider harshly for straying down the garden path of EPO, CERA, Ozone, transfusions and testosterone trickery.

And that is, the dope can be addictive."

Alpha Cross #1 was not far from my house yesterday so I wandered over there with the kids to catch the SS race in the afternoon. The generator for the bouncy castle ran out of gas so we were forced to gather sticks, throw rocks on the course and watch a bit of racing action. Here's a few shots.

There is two dr. dre's?

Do any of you remember when you were totally confused about who Dr. Dre was. Because it seemed impossible that this super fat guy on Yo MTV Raps was capable of spitting out the words "nothing but a g- thang", let alone posessing the attitude necesaary to be in a group called N.W.A. Just to put it to rest, this Dre was a former DJ for the Beastie Boys and MTV VJ. Currently residing in the "Where Are They Now" category, I can assure you he has not totally faded from our memories.
